Upper Darby School District is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to all users, regardless of ability. We strive to provide an inclusive digital experience that meets the needs of students, parents, staff, and community members.
Our Commitment
We are actively working to enhance the accessibility of our website in compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and user friendly for everyone. Through Finalsite’s partnership with the website accessibility platform AudioEye, our goal is to ensure our content is accessible to all. Additionally, the AudioEye Ally toolbar has been installed across our site, which includes screen reading technology and customization options so that you can personalize your website experience based on your needs. Please note that, like all things on the Internet, our website is a work in progress, and we are doing our best to ensure all photos and videos have the necessary ALT text and captions to provide the best possible experience to our users. Our goal is to ensure that all visitors, including those with disabilities, can easily navigate and interact with our content.
